EXERCISE FOR THE HYPERTENSION

HI, FRIENDS!

In this post, we are going to speak about the hypertension, a very common disease nowadays. 

High blood pressure is a silent disease that manifest, approximately, from the age of 40, but may appear earlier. 

WHAT IT IS? 
It is an elevation of blood pressure levels in a sustained manner. 

The heart puts preassure on the arteries so that they lead the blood to the different organs of the human body. This action is what is known as blood pressure.

Guidelines for the management of hypertension recommend a lifestyle modification (increase physical activity, quit smoking, do not consume alcoholic beverages, better dietary choices..).

It is recommended to perform between 30-60 minutes of moderate to vigorous aerobic exercise, 4-7 days per week. With this type of exercise, we can obtain an effect of post-exercise hypotension of 3.3, 3.5 mmHg more or less.
