RESISTANCE ELASTIC TUBE ROUTINE

One of all the materials that we can find in the world of fitness is the resistance tube. In this post we will show what is and how we can work with it.

They are similar to the elastic bands and act in the same way. There are different types of intensity depending on the tightness. The difference between them lies in the grip, being more comfortable in the resistance tube. Besides, depending on the model we can increase the intensity adding or removing tubes, as we can see in the picture below.

There are so many ways to work with them. The exercises are infinite and only limited by imagination. The most common ways are to step on it or to use a secure point to affix the opposite end. The farther away the fixed point of our hand is, the easier the exercise will be. For example, in the following pictures we can see that doing the same movement, the intensity is different.

Higher intensity

Lower intensity

When we are planning the training we have to take into account:
  • Choose 8 to 10 exercises or movements
  • Do 1 to 2 sets
  • Perform approximately 10 repetitions

These guidelines are especially for beginners. From that point on we can increase volume (sets and repetitions) or intensity.

Here we leave you some exercises you can use with your resistance tube to exercise the whole body:

In the following video you can watch a visual demonstration of the exercises:

This equipment is very cheap and useful. You can find it in any sport shop as this one: LINK TO DECATHLON WEB

Keep training to reach your goals. You can get whatever you want!
